ARC Logistics Kicks Off 2025 with a Major Project in New South Wales

ARC Logistics is entering 2025 with a milestone project, overcoming significant challenges caused by an unexpected industrial action in Melbourne that halted port operations. Thanks to the swift action of our experienced team, the disruption was managed effectively to keep the project on track.

Entrusted by one of our overseas partners, ARC Logistics oversaw the entire supply chain, from the arrival of 1,900 freight tons (FRT) of cargo at the Australian port to its final delivery at the project site(s) in New South Wales. Our customs experts ensured seamless clearance by utilizing existing concession agreements and securing new ones, significantly reducing the client’s duty and tax liabilities.

When the strike rendered Melbourne’s port operations impossible, the vessel was diverted to Newcastle. Despite these unexpected changes, ARC Logistics quickly adapted, arranging temporary storage in Newcastle. and expediting the transport of nearly 40 trailers of critical accessories to different locations in New South Wales.

With customs and quarantine clearances already pre-approved, the cargo was discharged just a few days later at the Port of Newcastle. Despite severe weather conditions, it was transported to the project site without further delays, reinforcing ARC Logistics’ reputation for delivering under pressure.
